Trilhos d’Abrutres
The Associação Abutrica are based in our nearest town, Miranda do Corvo. The Ultra Trilhos dos Abutres is one of their trail running events. The trails pass within a 150m of our door. The courses follow the amazing trails which pass through Miranda do Corvo and Serra da Lousã.

Zela Ultra – 23rd April 2022
Zela Ultra Marathon is a trail running event that combines the natural biodiversity of Vouzela with the difficulty of Serra do Caramulo, to provide athletes with a unique event. Distances are 10km, 21km, 38, and 54km.
UCI Gran Fondo Coimbra Region
A Gran Fondo is a long-distance semi-competitive bike ride with origins in Italy. The format was born in 1970 for amateur cyclists who didn’t quite make it into the professional ranks, but still enjoyed racing, winning and becoming local heroes. It has since spread around the world, encouraging amateur cyclists of all abilities to participate, compete and have fun on both paved and unpaved roads. This event also offers the chance of qualifying for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships.

Multisport Weekend Coimbra – 10th to 12th June 2022
This event is in a beautiful location only 30 minutes from us. If anyone is looking for a full or middle distance race (which promises to be a fast course with plenty of flat km) I recommend this as an early season outing. There are also sprint and super sprint events the day before and the course layout and transition setting offer a really good experience for supporting friends and family too. XTERRA Portugal
The charming and historic town of Golegã, known as Portugal’s Capital of the Horse, is the home of XTERRA Portugal. Part of the XTERRA European and World Tour. We will be racing this event in this beautiful location.
